Garth Wallace: Aviator, Publisher, Author, Speaker, Humorist!

Garth Wallace was for years publisher of COPA / Canadian Flight, the monthly newspaper of the 17,000-member Canadian Owners and Pilots Association.

Garth followed his boyhood dreams of flight into an aviation career. He learned to fly in a Fleet Canuck in 1966 and went on to be an instructor, bush pilot, charter pilot and corporate pilot. In 1990 he transitioned to aviation journalism.

Garth is the author of six books about the crazy characters he met and the humorous stories he lived: If Clouds Could Talk, Fly Yellow Side Up, Pie In The Sky, Derry Air, Cockpit Follies, and The Flying Circus. Garth also wrote Blue Collar Pilots as well as Don't Call Me a Legend, a biography of Charlie Vaughn, world renowned Canadian ferry pilot.
