Artflight 2000 at National Aviation Museum

Works of three Challenger owners were displayed at Artflight 2000, the Canada Aviation Museum’s nationwide competition in aviation art. For only the second time in the competition’s history the designated medium was photography.

The photographs by Canadian artists illustrated diverse interpretations of the theme "Canada in Flight". The works were on display in the Gallery of Aviation Art at the museum in Ottawa during February and March 2001. To make this even more memorable, the awards were presented by General Maurice Baril, Commander-In-Chief of Canada's Armed Forces, himself a Challenger owner.

For those of you who missed the exhibit we've brought the enticing selection of Challenger shots here to this chapter of our Family Album. The pictures are by Nadia Kosseim-Flahault (engineer at Bell Helicopter), Michael Flahault (well known aviation artist), and Ian Coristine (co-owner of National Ultralight).
