Sunday Drive

Bruce Borland and daughter Jamie enjoy cruisin' around
with the doors off and no particular destination in mind.

This is the Challenger equivalent of a ride in the country in a convertible!

Bruce's Challenger sports amphibious Puddlejumper floats in summer, skis in winter, and tundra wheels in between. Truly a go anywhere, anytime aircraft!

The entire Borland family enjoys using the Challenger to explore the islands of Georgian Bay and the lakes of the Muskoka district, often in formation with other local Challenger families. One of Bruce's favourite Challenger memories is his trip to the COA Winter Rendezvous at Chateau Vaudreuil. That trip from Barrie to Montreal and return was 1000 km on skis in a flock of 6 Challengers!

Bruce got his Recreational Pilot Permit in a Piper Cherokee and added a Seaplane rating in a Citabria on floats. Since acquiring his Challenger though he hasn't been interested in flying anything else!
