Most of the pictures in this manual and picture files are of the LSS but most 
of the assembly is the same on the XL/S models except for the wing section.
 
We've included a lot of pictures of each stage of assembly. 
It's advisable to look at all the pictures as well as the assmebly
instruction before you start drilling any holes.

Start with Sect. 1 file (tail section)
The Wings file is next then the Fuselage and engine 
file.

There are pictures and instructions that may not
apply to your kit and some modifications you may 
like are included.

There is also a file called Challenger Building manual
pdf. that contains a copy of our old manuals to help
you with the sequence of the build.

Note: correction on page 3 of wing section (sect II).  The measurement 
from the inboard end of the spar to the inboard SIDE of the first rib 
should be 1.75" top and bottom, front and back.  NOT 1.5" ON CENTER as shown 
in the drawing.  The inboard edge of the top W5XX sheet should be 1" from 
the end of the spar.  This gives a little overhang.  When attaching aileron
 pushrods you may have to trim a little of this overhang to clear the pushrods.   

Space the next top rib flush with the outboard edge of W5X.  

 The bottom W5X sheet should be FLUSH with the inboard side
of the first rib which is also 1.5" from the end of the spar to the 
inboard side of the rib. Space second rib flush with the out board edge
 of W5X
