The doors come off in a couple of minutes to take two on an open cockpit
flight to the beach for a swim and a picnic lunch. The Challenger's excellent
maneuverability on the water and the shallow draft of the floats enable
the crew to come ashore at spots which would make a larger floatplane cringe.
